How do I purchase and subscribe to a prepaid plan using online channels?

To purchase the Prepaid plan, subscribers must:

 

i. Login to any participating Online Channels

ii. Select the Prepaid plans that you wish to subscribe

iii. Key in mobile number and make the necessary payment

iv. A confirmation SMS will be sent by U Mobile to you to confirm successful subscription.

Online channel – only 1 step required which is purchase and subscription will be done automatically from backend.


Other channels – 2 steps required which is purchase top up and subscribe to the plan manually by subscribers.

Yes, you can. But the existing rate plan will be terminated as it is still bonded to an active contract. You will be liable for any charges, you must also settle all outstanding charges and ETP (early termination payment) applies, under the existing rate plan before the subscriber can proceed to sign up for iPhone @ RM48 Promotion.

What kind of savings can I get when I buy any Apple iPhone model with iPhone @ RM48 Promotion?

You will enjoy attractive savings from low instalment payments as the total amount paid throughout the tenure is still much lower than the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of the phone model upon signing up for iPhone @ RM48 Promotion. The RM2 Free Credit will be forfeited if subscriber prepaid account hit the criteria below:

 

  1. Your Prepaid account has been suspended or terminated;
  2. Your Prepaid account becomes inactive;
  3. You have unsubscribed to the Automated CreditSOS Credit subscription;
  4. You have switched to U Mobile Postpaid plan; or
  5. You have switched your Prepaid account to another network service provider and is no longer a U Mobile user
If I’ve received the Free Credit, what is the validity for the reward?

Can the Free Credit be used to pay for CreditSOS outstanding amount?

The RM2 Free Credit cannot be used to pay for CreditSOS outstanding credit amount. CreditSOS credit outstanding amount has to be paid via normal top up.

The U Mobile X Edna Creationz AR Filter Contest is a social media contest where participants can use our AR filter to try-on the U Mobile x Edna Creationz U Ultra Max & U Ultra Force Custom Nike Air Force 1 Sneakers to stand a chance to win a pair of the custom sneakers. The contest will be held from 27 October 2024 to 27 November 2024.

How do I participate in this contest?
  • To enter, participants need to use the try-on AR filter, snap their most creative pose and share it on an Instagram Post, and tag U Mobile by using the contest hashtag #UMobileXSneakerLAH for a chance to win!
  • Your Instagram account must be set to public during the contest period and until the winners are contacted for your entry to be valid.
  • Ensure your post follows our content guidelines: no inappropriate content, offensive gestures, or explicit material.
Am I allowed to submit more than one post?

Yes. Multiple entries are allowed, but each participant is eligible to win only one prize.

How does U Mobile select the winners?
  • The winners will be selected from all eligible entries received during the entry period. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by U Mobile including Bryan Chin, the co-founder of SneakerLAH. The review will be conducted from 29 November 2024 onwards.
  • Winners must claim their prize within 7 Days of the announcement by sending a DM to our official Instagram account (@umobile). If a winner fails to respond within this timeframe, a new winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to receive the monthly Prizes via SMS.

How do I claim my prize if I’m informed as the monthly winner?

Participants who qualify by completing the steps listed in Q3 will be eligible for consideration to win the monthly prize, as specified below:

For RM5 Cashback in U Mobile Prepaid Credit

(i) U Mobile will credit the RM5 Cashback to the winners’ U Mobile Prepaid accounts (with the same MSISDN used to perform the transactions).

(ii) U Mobile will attempt to credit the amount to the winners’ U Mobile Prepaid accounts once. If this attempt fails for any reason whatsover, the Cashback will be forfeited.

 

For RM50 Cashback in TNG eWallet’s Credit

(i) The RM50 Cashback will be credited by TNGD into the winners’ TNG e-Wallets.

(ii) TNGD will attempt to credit the Cashback to the winners’ TNG e-Wallet once. If this attempt fails for any reason whatsoever, the Cashback will be forfeited.

If I use my existing remaining credit in my Prepaid account and subscribe U40/GX38 Prepaid Plan, am I qualified?

Can I perform top up via TNG eWallet and subscribe the prepaid plan via MyUMobile App or UMB?

No. You must purchase U Mobile Prepaid Plan directly from TNG eWallet only.

Can I exchange the prize for other products?

The prizes are given on an "as-is" basis and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, in full or in part. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with another voucher or an item of similar value at any time without prior notice.

How much do I need to pay if I terminate/downgrade my UF 128 postpaid plan during contract period?

If you terminate or if we terminate your U SaveMore due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan before the expiry of the contract period, you are required to pay U Mobile the Device remaining balance charges, as determined by U Mobile as set out below:
