- All Malaysians and foreigners over 18 years old can sign up for the U Postpaid Borneo 38/U Postpaid Borneo 68 Rate Plan. The plan is available for new registrations, mobile number portability (MNP) port-ins, Prepaid-to-Postpaid conversion, and Rate Plan changes.
- Non-Malaysian citizen is required to pay a refundable deposit of RM500 per customer. U Mobile may from time to time change the deposit amount at our absolute discretion.
Effective 9 July, the U Postpaid Borneo 38 plan will no longer include the rebate promo. However, the plan will be enhanced with Free 5GB Roaming Data in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand at RM38/month.
For the U Postpaid Borneo 68 plan, new sign-ups during the promo period will be eligible for an RM10 rebate for 12 months. Alternatively, customers can choose to receive a free 5G device with the same plan, without the monthly rebate.

Step 1
Locate the SIM slot at the bottom of the device.
Step 2
Align the SIM notch so the orientation matches the illustration. Do not forcibly insert the SIM as it will only go in one way. Please note that only nano SIM cards can be used.

Upon termination request, the deposit will be refunded after 60 working days. It will be offset against your final bill and any outstanding charges.

• Yes, all existing WBB, U Home 5G, and U Biz 5G subscribers are allowed to change their rate plan.
• Any unused quota, add-on and benefit from your previous plan will be forfeited when you upgrade to U Home 5G Borneo. Terms and conditions apply.
• Note that U Home 5G Borneo only works in East Malaysia.
- I accidentally upgraded from U Home 5G to U Home 5G Borneo, what do I do?
To cater for accidental registration or rate plan changes, please visit one of our U Mobile branches within 30 days to downgrade back to U Home 5G without penalty.
After 30 days, you will have to abide by the Terms and Conditions where:
- For SIM-only plans, there is a 90-day Minimum Usage Term before you can CRP back to U Home 5G.
- For contract plans, Early Termination Penalty will apply.
- I am a U Mobile Postpaid subscriber; can I change my plan to U Home 5G Borneo?
No. You cannot change your Postpaid rate plan to U Home 5G Borneo.
- If I change my rate plan to U Home 5G Borneo Plan, do I need to pay the upfront payment again?
Yes, we will collect an upfront payment upon registration of U Home 5G Borneo.
- Will my upfront payment be refunded?
Any remaining upfront payment balance will be refunded to you without interest if you terminate U Home 5G Borneo.
Please note that this is provided that all outstanding charges have been settled. If there are outstanding charges, we will offset the payment with your last billed amount and any other relevant outstanding charges.
- What is the U Home 5G Borneo Launch Promo?
Customers who register for U Home 5G Borneo during the promo period will receive RM20 rebate off from the normal charges of RM78 per month. This rebate will be prorated according to your first bill and will automatically be reflected on your subsequent monthly bills.
