Free Data Redemption for New MyUMobile App Users
  1. Free Data redemption (“Free Data”) is provided by U Mobile Sdn. Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) and is available exclusively on MyUMobile App.
  2. The Free Data is offered to selected U Mobile Prepaid, Postpaid and Broadband subscribers who are first time MyUMobile App users (“Eligible Subscribers”). The Eligible Subscribers will be selected by U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion.
  3. The Free Data is subject to the Terms of Service of our Prepaid, Postpaid or Broadband service including our Privacy Notice, MyUMobile App terms of use, the relevant Prepaid, Postpaid or Broadband subscription plan and these additional terms and conditions, (collectively, the “Terms”) all which are available on /.
  4. We reserve the right to discontinue offering the Free Data, modify or otherwise change the Terms.
  5. We reserve the right to reject any participation or subscription at our sole and absolute discretion without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
  6. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.
  7. Free Data
    1. Steps for redeeming Free Data via the MyUMobile App are as follows:
      1. Download and login to MyUMobile App.
      2. Upon login, a pop-up banner with the link to redeem the Free Data will appear. Tap on the Redeem button to proceed.
      3. Upon successful redemption, a notification message will be sent to you and details of usage will be available in “View All Usage Details” in MyUMobile App.
      4. You can also click on the Free Data icon on MyUMobile App Main Page under the “All Services” section to perform redemption.
    2. The Free Data will be available for redemption for a period of 30 days from your first time login to MyUMobile App.
    3. You are entitled for one (1) Free Data redemption for each subscription/line that you have. For example, if you subscribed to U Postpaid 98, U Postpaid 68 and also have a Prepaid line; you are entitled to redeem once for each subscription/line.
    4. The Free Data can only be redeemed and utilised when your line status is Active (“Active” means able to make and receive calls).
    5. For Prepaid, the validity period of your plan (“Active Period”) depends on the amount you top up. For example: for every RM1.00 you top up, your Active Period will be 1 day. If you top up RM10, your Active Period will be 10 days.
    6. Usage of data will be drawn from the Free Data first. Upon full consumption of your Free Data, usage of data will be drawn from your other data packages.
    7. The Free Data allocated is for domestic (within Malaysia) use only. Any unused Free Data will be forfeited upon expiry of the validity period. You may refer to the “View All Usage Details” on the MyUMobile App main page for Free Data usage and expiry date.
    8. The Free Data is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash in full or in part.
    9. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms by participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians.
    10. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.
