CreditShare Terms and Conditions
1. CreditShare is a service which allows eligible U Mobile Prepaid customers to transfer prepaid credit to, or request it from, another eligible customer through the designated U Mobile channels.
2. By using CreditShare, you agree to all the governing terms and conditions which includes but not be limited to the U Mobile’s Privacy Notice, the applicable U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions, and the Terms and Conditions herein (collectively, the “Terms”), all of which are available on www.u.com.my. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms, the Prepaid Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
3. Eligibility
3.1. To transfer credit using CreditShare, the sender must be an Active U Mobile Prepaid customer.
3.2. A receiver may be an Active or Passive U Mobile Prepaid customer. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. “Passive” means able to receive calls and SMS, but unable to make calls, send SMS or use data.
3.3. A customer in passive status may only request credit through MyUMobile App or UMB.
3.4. U Mobile may apply reasonable operational, fraud prevention, risk management or system validation controls in administering CreditShare.
3.5. You must comply with all applicable laws and service requirements.
4. CreditShare Amount and Validity
4.1. CreditShare is available in the following amounts:

4.2. The applicable validity extension will be credited upon a successful transaction.
4.3. Credit received under CreditShare is non-transferable.
4.4. U Mobile shall not be responsible for any unused or expired credit.

6. Fees and Charges
6.1. The following service fees apply for each successful CreditShare transaction:
(a) Sender: RM0.50 per transaction
(b) Receiver: RM0.20 per transaction
6.2. No service fee is charged merely for making a request. Fees are charged only when a transfer is successfully completed.
7. Sender Balance Requirement
7.1. The sender must have sufficient main credit balance to cover the CreditShare amount to be transferred and the applicable sender service fee.
7.2. After the CreditShare amount and sender service fee are deducted, the sender must maintain a minimum main credit balance of RM1.
8. Transaction Limits
8.1. A sender may transfer up to a maximum of RM10 per day or RM100 per month, whichever limit is reached first.
8.2. A receiver or requester may receive or request up to a maximum of RM30 per day or RM100 per month, whichever limit is reached first.
8.3. U Mobile may apply additional system validations or controls where necessary.
9. Use of CreditShare Balance
9.1. CreditShare balance may only be used for:
(a) Making local calls or IDD calls;
(b) Sending SMS messages; and
(c) Subscribing to data plans.
9.2. CreditShare balance may not be transferred onward to another customer.
9.3. CreditShare must not be used for:
(a) Fraudulent or unlawful activities
(b) Commercial resale or unauthorized purposes
(c) Any activity that violates these Terms and Conditions
9.4. U Mobile reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in case of suspected abuse or breach.
10. Service Availability
10.1. U Mobile does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the CreditShare service.
10.2. U Mobile may suspend or withdraw the service for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons.
11. Liability
11.1. U Mobile shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay arising from the use of the CreditShare service, including but not limited to incorrect transfers or system interruptions.
11.2. The sender bears full responsibility for all transactions initiated from their account.
12. The CreditShare balance will be forfeited upon account suspension, termination, or a change to a different prepaid or postpaid plan. In the case where the prepaid account undergoes a transfer of ownership, the balance will be carried forward to the said prepaid account.
13. A CreditShare request does not guarantee a transfer, as a transaction is successful only once processed by U Mobile, who may notify you via the relevant service channel. All transfers are final and non-reversible once successfully completed. The sender is responsible for ensuring that the receiver’s details are accurate prior to confirming the transfer.
14. U Mobile may amend these Terms and Conditions or suspend, modify or withdraw CreditShare from time to time. Any such update may be published through U Mobile’s official communication channels, including its website or app.
15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia shall have jurisdiction over matters arising from or in connection with CreditShare.
16. References to “U Mobile”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean U Mobile Sdn Bhd.
